I just downloaded the VLC app on my iPhone Pro 12. Everything seemed fine up until I attempted to add videos to a playlist. To be clear, I synced the videos to the phone via File Sharing on iTunes for the VLC app then on the phone itself I went to the list of videos that are displayed on the VLC app. At this point, I select all from the folder with the videos I want (which are in the correct order by name ex: video 01, video 02, video 03 etc.) then after selecting multiple, I click on add to playlist. Now when I look at the playlist its not in the same order as before. It seems quite random as to what order it places the videos in so I can't figure out what is happening. I read somewhere that the app sorts by ASCII or something else but no matter how I update my naming convention, it appears to randomly stack the videos as it pleases once I add in bulk to the playlist.
Sorry for the overly verbose description but if there is an answer, I'd love to understand it. My main questions are...
1. Is this just what happens when you add videos to a playlist in bulk?
2. What sort of naming convention do I need to ensure that crap doesn't happen again.
