Imported .m4v files not appearing in video list

Hi- I am having a problem importing .m4v files into my VLC app on my iPad. I am using a ‘Sharing via Wi-Fi’ webpage to import them. The first 4 imported properly, and showed up in the video list, allowing me to play them. However, the 3 imported after that did not appear in the video list, although I am virtually certain that they were imported into the app. This is because 1) they show up at the bottom of the Wi-Fi page, as available for download from the iPad, and 2) in the VLC listing under General, iPad Storage, they are also listed, as being stored in the app. Any help you can provide me would be greatly appreciated!! How can I get these files listed within the app, so I play them?
