Clicking Seek bar not working in iOS like Android

Newly shifted to iPhone (iOS world) from Android. When I am trying to click randomly on seek bar it is not working. Although the same is working in VLC for Android. It is not at all convenient and only way to use seek is to click the pointer from current running position and drag forward or backward.
Am I missing any settings? Please guide.

Hello,
You are not missing any setting, this is just not possible at the moment.
There are several different ways for you to seek forward and backwards, you can:
- Use the double tap gestures
- Use the swipe gestures
- Use the seek bar by dragging it
Please note that with the 3.5.0, you will be able to select a different seek duration for both the double tap and the swipe gestures.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the updates but If i may ask why is it not possible to achieve it now when same functionality is available in Android version? Being a software developer, I am just asking to understand the constraint.

It's simple. The default slider on iOS does not allow clicking. You must touch and move. On Android, you can click by default.
