Does "Dump media library" export playlists?

I currently use VLC on iOS as my music player. However, if I switched to Android, I would want to be able to move my playlists across. If I press "Dump media library" at the bottom of settings, it spits out a file named "medialibrary.db" in the VLC folder. Does this contain my playlists, and could I use this to import them into another instance of VLC?

It contains the playlists you created using the VLC-iOS. It does not include any .pls files you might have synchronized. However, the file paths and media library versions differ between iOS and Android, so chances are very high that transfering the .db file will not work.

Ah, okay. Do you know how I would actually transfer and import the .db file?

I'm not 100% sure how the VLC-Android is organizing its metadata and database files. Probably, it is the easiest to run it first and then expect its private folder.
