Version 3.4.4 (520) tvOS

Postby yoshiyike » 05 Jun 2023 03:53

The update is much appreciated. I know you creators are hard at work trying to sort out all the bugs in every way possible. Yet I am saddened to report to you that the previous situation that I have mentioned still remains. Instead of playing files one after another. It will play every other one. I have tried to replicate the results on a windows pc and an iPhone and cannot. It seems to only affect VLC on Apple tvOS. All I am doing is streaming media via SMB. Sorry if my persistence is like a gnat at a barbecue. I however figured after 7 months. A resolution would be at hand.

As other tvOS users have mentioned. “Repeating tracks” it appears that it applies to videos as well. Along with the previous skipping problem. So now, for me. It will play 1st video, skip the 2nd and do nothing but repeat the 3rd.

Thank you for the update once again. It does seem to have fixed the repeating of videos on tvOS. However the skipping of tracks still appears to be there. I hit play on #1 it played it just fine. It skipped #2 and played the rest in order as it should. Tried to replicate the results on my iPhone with no success. What I am doing is going to Local Network, selecting my SMB where my video files are and logging in with user name and password. Then going to specific sequential videos to test the continued playback functionality. The shorter the better. So far it seems as if I start sequential movies that are intended to play back to back. #2 will be skipped.
