Hi,
I’m not sure whether I’m the only one experiencing this issue, but since the latest update (Version: 3.4.0 (508)) whenever I tap on the “X in the top-left hand corner of a video to close it it continues to play but in the collapsed band mode. However, when I hold down on the “X” for a few seconds and then release it then closes the video.

Is there anyway to just set VLC to close a video when the “X” is tapped or is this a bug?

Quite annoying and thought it was just a new “feature” of the new version…

I commented on this in the release thread- it's definitely annoying. It does completely close a video if you pause it before tapping X, but I'd also prefer it if the X just shut everything down.

What about pinch to close? It behaves as a quick click on the 'x' and simply minimizes the video.

Today's 3.4.1 release fixes this. Thanks to the dev team!
