VLC for Apple TV 3.3.11 (445) does not play videos on Apple TV send message Please wait.

I).- I have Vetinari version 3.0.18 of the VLC multimedia player installed on a computer with Windows 10 OS, which I use as an SMB server with an external disk to play all kinds of videos through a local network, in which In turn, I have a fourth-generation Apple TV installed in which the VLC app for Apple TV 3.3.11 (445) is also installed, which worked perfectly playing on the Smart TV in which the aforementioned Apple TV is installed. video that is on the external disk of the SMB server, but until about three days ago, VLC stopped playing the videos that are on the server, because even though I can open it, select the server (which is configured with the server name, username, password, STP port, work group, etc.), when selecting the video or movie to play, it allows me to see the folder where it is (because normally the subtitle in Spanish is also found in *.srt format), but selecting it with the Apple TV remote to play it launches the VLC playback interface, but immediately displays the message "Please wait" and immediately returns VLC to displaying the server folder where The movie I want to play is found and it is impossible to play any video.
II).- In another Smart TV that I have installed in my local network, I have a Chromecast with fourth generation Google TV, in which I configured the same SMB server mentioned above with Apple TV and with the same parameters used identically on both devices (Apple TV and Chromecast with Google TV) and on the Chromecast with Google TV I can play any video that is on the external hard drive from the SMB server without any problem like I previously did on the Apple TV.
III).- Finally, it is worth mentioning that also in the VLC media player that I have installed on the Windows 10 PC initially mentioned, the videos can also be played without any problem, so I consider that the VLC 3.3.11 (445) installed on the fourth generation Apple TV, was the subject of an update since it was only about three days ago when it began to present the problem mentioned in section II) and it is what motivates the request for technical support, hoping that it will briefly have the appropriate configuration and as a consequence the solution to the problem of an app (VLC) without which it is currently difficult to consider a pleasant afternoon watching videos together with my grandchildren, children and wife. Thank you for such an excellent application.
