long track names on iPhone

I have two related questions regarding VLC on iPhone:

1. If the track name is long, it gets truncated on the display. No surprise there, but I can't find a way to reveal the missing characters, so I can't tell one track from another as all track names show the same. The only way is to play the track and watch the scroller until the rest of the characters show up.That's no good if another track is already playing.

2. Is there some way to look at the track list and see which one is playing? I haven't found one.

thanks

Hello,

There is indeed a way to see the full track name in the media list.

In the Settings view, there is an option called "Enable text scrolling in media list", located in the Generic section.
When enabled you will be able to see the media title label scrolling to fully display it.

Hope it will help, thank you for your feedback!

That helps, thanks, but is there a way to display the Title instead of the file name? I went through and changed the Title and Author fields on my desktop mac, then put the save playlist into the iPhone VLC folder (in Finder:IPhone:Files tab), but it displays the filename instead of the Title.

Is there a way to choose which field on the metadata to view in the Playlist?

Thanks!
