iPhone Libray is hidden. No Access, cannot transfer files

I was trying to transfer all files off my iphone before I sold it. I have about 10 files of downloaded tv episodes which went into the VLC library. They all play just fine.

I cannot locate these files anywhere else on my iphone. They do not show up in the apple "Files" folder or the VLC sub folder in that directory.

The only place I can locate the individual files is either in the VLC library or under Storage in the iphone settings menu when I check the the VLC apps storage size. I have no ability to move, copy or edit these files from this location. The VLC library location likewise does not give me any option to move copy or edit them to any other location.

How do I find these files and copy them off to my PC? I don't want to use wifi to upload them to the cloud because my cloud drive is full and I want to understand how this works.

Can you tell me which version are you currently using?

Also, in the settings view, there is an option in the Privacy section called "Hide the media library in Files".
When this option is enabled, as the name says, your media will be hidden in the Files app, is this option enabled on your side?

Do you have a login code defined in VLC? If yes, the content is hidden from your phone. Remove the app lock code to see your files.
