VLC playing aac files silently, requires I click on different tracks.

i put aac files on my VLC spp on my iPhone. when i try to play them, audio takea about 5 seconds to start sometimes. this is weird but the main problem is that after one file rinisbes, the next file just plays silently. it will play for 5 minites in silence until i click on a different track, wait 5 seconds for the sound to occur, then i have to click back ok the audio file i want to play. it will play, then when it’s done, the next file will start playing silently and i have to do the same thing again, every single time i want to listen to something. this is the most horrible user experience ever. what i am trying to do is so unbelievably basic, just play audio files and it can’t do it. I’m dying inside. i tried foobar2000 but it doesn’t have the ability to seek through files (how is that even possible?) and it doesn’t even say the length of the track, it will only show how far i to the file it currently is (3 seconds).

what can i do to listen to a playlist of aac files on my phone? this is a nightmare.
