it does not free up space

Hello,
I'm moving some videos with iTunes from the PC to the space of VLC, then I'm deleting some of them via VLC but the space occupied by the app is always the same. Why? the only solution is delete the app when I need to delete all the videos and then reinstall again...
Any solution?

hello, not the ones I deleted. Just now I have 2 files, around 1GB total, but the space occupied by VLC is around 9GB
