VLC, iOS Files app, Automatically play next item

Hi, new to the forum and first post.
I wish to view some dash camera videos on my iPad 11 which I have on a micro SD card in a usbc hub attached to the iPad. I can open up individual files using VLC, but I can’t get it to automatically open each file. Unfortunately each file is around 400Mb and there’s 64Gb worth, so it’s not possible to download them all to my device.
I notice there has been a similar thread re: using Dropbox files, so I’m wondering whether support for the Files app is also in the pipeline?

Hi there

I experience a similar issue to this. I've airdropped a bunch of files to my iPad. Which sits in the "Files" folder.
I can only open up each file individually.
Can't select "Files" as a source like Dropbox...
Can't create a playlist to autoplay next video
And all the other feature that would come with being able to see "Files" or a usb within the VLC app.

Is there a road map to when this might get added?
