How to use VLC for iOS 3.2.6 (344) with SMB 2.0

How do I use VLC for iOS 3.2.6 (344) with SMB 2.0? When I try to connect to Windows 10 SMB 2.0 shares, VLC asks for credentials. I have password sharing disabled, so there shouldn't be any need for credentials. When I enable SMB 1.0, it works, but this creates a security issue. Does VLS for iOS not work with SMB 2.0?

i have the same problems with VLC on one of my two firetvs. in the one where 3.2.6 is installed appears the circle when i attempt to enter into my shared files on my windows 10 notebook. VLC 3.1.4 installed in the other firetv works normally instead.
same problem on my samsung galasy s8 with VLC 3.2.7

There is a way to get back to 3.1.4 on the fire tv? where i can donwload the relative apk file? https://get.videolan.org/vlc-android/3.1.4/ will work for firetv?
thanks

I am using an iPhone. How would I install the older 3.1.4 apk? Can they fix the current version to work with SMB 2.0?

i can confirm the problem with VLC 3.2.6 on FireTV stick, where the wait spins indefinitely after authenticating to SMB 2.0 service on a Raspberry Pi 4. The PC and iOS VLC apps authenticate successfully to the same service with the same credentials. I’d rather not jailbreak the FireTV or attempt a sideload of an earlier vision, so I uninstalled it for the moment.
