VLC version 3.2 on iPad is very nice. I miss the group option which happened automatically on VLC. It used to group with names.

I can confirm this too on iOS 12.4.1 (iPad Pro 2018).

I’ve got hundreds of episodes and movies in my VLC library (1 TB iPad), and each TV-series used to be grouped together nicely based on filenames.

For example “TV.Show.S01E01 - TV.Show.S04E24” would show up automatically as a folder called “TV Show”.

I don’t have the patience to manually sort all the seasons of series into the new playlists introduced.

Please bring back this essential feature, since my library is quite a mess right now compared to how neat it was in the previous VLC app.

Yes, this is a mess.

My library is also no longer automatically sorted by show name in the file.

Why not give this option back?
