The "First steps to Sync and Play Your Media" contain outdated instructions for the iTunes File Sync screen. "Apps" needs to be replaced with "File Sharing".

I'm not sure when Apple changed this but these are the versions I am using:

iTunes 12.9.4.94
VLC 3.1.9 (325)

Thank you for the report, this should be fixed with our next big release changing the UI.
