wrong hostname printed in wifi sharing option

When I enable the wifi upload function in VLC, it shows a wrong hostname in the connection URL. To be exact, the host part is correct, while the domain is wrong.

It shows myphone.local instead of correct myphone.lan.

version is 3.1.4 , iOS version 12.1.1

Sorry, but myphone.local is the correct hostname for devices propagated via Bonjour. We don't create this label ourselves, but print exactly what the operating system tells us how your device is called on the network.
