Duplicate issue?

Hi, Ive been using VLC as an app for a really long time on my Ipad air. I usually dont use it fr music but rather for video files that are about 2 sec to 1 min long. Recently I went on a download spree and noticed that when I opened the app, there were a ton of duplicates, like all of the original files and the new ones that I downloaded had atleast 5 extra copies next to it which slowed down VLC for me and its giving me issues. If I redownload the app will it keep all my files and fix the situation???

How many files are in your list? If it's over 1,000 then I believe you are experiencing the same bug I have described at the latter half of this post ... https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... es#p483500

and this bug persists.
