does the newest version support streaming to chromecast, like the version 3.0 for mac os?

Hi,
Chromecast is not supported yet on VLC-iOS and VLC-tvOS.

Why? I thought that the version 3 should have brought support to the VLC app on iOS. Is that a planned update ? When ?

I cannot give you a precise date for it but it's definitely a planned update.
