TS / Mpeg2 issues on AppleTV?

Is anyone having issues with TS / Mpeg2 files on AppleTV?

The files start playing but after that if you try and do anything it jumps to the end of the clip and if you try and move back or forth it jumps all over the place.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue, could you provide more information such as:

• AppleTV version
• VLC-tvOS version
• Detailed issue reproduction steps

Also, if you could upload the said file somewhere it would help a lot.

Thanks for getting back to me, it was fine until about 2 versions ago. It’s hard to explain but if you start playing the file it’s like it doesn’t fully load (it won’t show the full and correct length of the clip) and if you try and move forward or backwards it jumps around (not where you wanted to play it from).

No the desktop version is fine. It’s only the AppleTV version that appears to have this issue and it’s happening on all three Apple tvs in my house. They’re all the same versions of OS and VLC. It’s a TV recording that is sent via DLNA from the PVR. I’ve also tried to watch it through a smb share and same issue. As I said about 2 VLC updates ago (about 3 months ago) it was perfect in VLC. Never had an issue, but since an update is been creating the above problem. I also moved a file onto my QNAP NAS and tried to watch off that. Same issue. Seems to be specific for TS /MPEG.
