Downloading a file from VLC iOS with subtitles

I absolutely love VLC for iOS, pretty much my favorite media player, right alongside Netflix. However, one issue that I have is when I download a file that has subtitles from my phone to my pc, the subtitles are never simultaneously downloaded. So for example I upload File_A.mp4 and File_A.srt to the VLC app on my iPhone, the file and related subs work just fine, but if I want to download File_A.mp4 from my iPhone to my pc (because maybe I deleted the original version on my pc to have more space), then I can't download the subtitle file. Any way around this?

No, besides plugging your device to your Mac or PC and using iTunes to connect to your phone, there is currently no way to recover the srt file.

Would this be a feature that VLC may perhaps consider for future updates?
