iPad User Interface - Playback Speed

Any chance of making the Playback Speed/Audio Delay/Subtitle Delay interface bigger on the iPad? Trying to move the playback speed in tiny increments with any accuracy is really difficult even with a stylus.
(Oddly, it's actually easier on an iPhone for some reason. The relative size of the controls is bigger on the iPhone than on the iPad.)
