VLC ipad unable to delete videos

So, ipad 4 (a1460) running lastest version of VLC (2.8.2) on lastest ios (10.3.3).

I press/select on the files to delete them, they start to jiggle in order for me to select them and i am not able to select any. Either i touch the ipad and nothing happens or the file gets selected and them unselected automatically after 0,5 seconds.

I have tried to kill the app and return to it but that doesn't help. Thus, i am not able to select and delete the files.

Any solution?
