Hi,
I've been using vlc on ipad for 2 years.
Just recently, I found I could no longer select files to delete.
I eventually gave up and uninstalled the app.
I reinstalled, turned the vlc server on, but CANNOT connect to it. It times out.
Ipad is on the network (as I was able to redownload the app and install it)
Any suggestions on how to debug this would be appreciated.

Fixed the connection issue. For some reason I needed to reset my router.
The only thing that had changed was while on the road I had connected the ipad to a different network to download stuff to watch on my return flight.
When I came back and re-connected to my office network, everything was fine except for the vlc server not responding.
Be interesting to see if the delete file problem occurs again.

i also have the deleting problem, does anybody know how to fix it?
