[iOS] FTP Unicode not working for chinese file names, files dont play

This is on newest iOS and newest VLC app on iPhone and iPad

I have files in my NAS that has chinese filenames

The NAS is configured for UTF-8/UTF-16 AFAIK (it's NTFS and mounted as NTFS drive)

But the filenames shown on vlc are a mess, even after selecting FTP encoding to UTF-8/UTF-16

This results in files "not being found", and cannot be accessed.

Bump. Is anyone looking into this? Or is the iOS app not in development anymore?
