VLC duplication bug and crashing
Posted: 31 Mar 2017 03:43
So I'm on my IOS and I notice that my VLC has duplicated any files that were left outside a folder.
My first reaction was to delete the redundancy but, turns out if you delete one it deletes the redundancy *and* the original.
Next I renamed the file and put it in a folder, result- refer to the last attempt.
Finally I decided to transfer one file to Dropbox, delete the redundancy and move onto the next one but, once you delete the redundancies and go to the next file, it refuses to let you transfer, instead asking if you want to put it in a file or change the name.
This leads to the other problem, it will ether let you in after you close the app or it will open and subsequently crash and then after you close it will let you in (its irritating since I put a password on it to make the app secure from friends/family).
Now my current conundrum, after being fed up with putting in my password for the 30th time today I decided like an idiot "why don't I take off the password so I can get to the files quicker, this however lead to the app deciding that whenever it opens, to crash imidietly and not let me in.
Is there anything I can do or I'm I stuck hoping VLC will patch the bug and deal with the issue?
