Cannot edit recent URLs list

This is a real annoyance. Sometimes URLs are incorrect or you may want to trim the list, but you cannot delete them.
At least you can rename them e.g. "dead" but I cannot find anyway to remove them.
I guess only solution is t remove app, reinstall and start all over again?
