Can't open folder with multiple videos

I love VLC for iOS. However I'm having a problem. I use VLC to watch my shows on my iPhone. I load multiple shows and vlc groups multiple episodes of the same show into folders. For some reason I'm unable to open folders that contain multiple videos. I can still play single videos that are not in a folder. But I cannot access any folders. I can see the folder that's says how many videos are in it but cannot open the folder. What can I do? I do not want to have to delete vlc and reload all my videos. I've tried quitting all apps and restarting the phone but no luck. Using version 2.7.8
