Won't recognize any image files

I'm using iOS 9. The VLC player will recognize, and play, video files that I have on my server perfectly. However, I can't find any of the image files located on the same server. Any folder that has image(jpg) files just looks blank. From what I've read, VLC should be able to show these files.

Any help?

Image "playback" is out-of-scope for VLC-iOS, sorry.
