Disabling OSD at start of video file playback

Hello,

Anyone know if there's a way to disable the OSD (on screen display) at the start of a file playback for VLC for Apple TV?
I think there was a preference option in the desktop os, but couldn't find it on Apple TV.

Thanks,
Garge

You mean the overlay with the playback position indicator?

Yes. And filename/volume control.

There is no option for that (yet). What is your use-case?

Ok, thanks. Figured I'd check. Playing a looping video file & looking to avoid the OSD popping up at loop points.

Thanks again.

Was this option every enabled? We're looking for a similar use case. We would like to just point to a NAS folder and have VLC loop through the videos, but they are short 30 second trailers, so having the OSD pop up every 25 seconds isn't very eloquent.

Thank you!

Looking for the same option. Do you have any date to give us?
Many thanks!
