Certain Files won’t play on Apple TV app

I have noticed that some of my files play for 8 sec then stop won’t go any further. I can play those same files fine on my Mac Pro as well. I have them stored on an Airport Extreme that is cat7 direct to the apple tv gen 4. Any suggestions why they work on my computer but not on the OS app. It also tends to be the m4v files. The avi seem to work fine so far as I can tell.

I have this exact issue as well. I have encoded the files with the exact same profile within handbrake (from mpeg2 to m4v) and have mixed results with playback, some will play others will exhibit this exact same behavior of playing for about 10 seconds then stopping and reverting the the file menu.

Probably a bug in our SMB implementation. Should be fixed in a future update. Sorry for the late reply.
