I can open a RTSP stream (rtsp://[username]:[password]@[IP address]:[port]/videoMain) of my IP camera (Foscam FI9900EP) with VLC on my desktop but not with my iPhone, iPad or AppleTV. On my desktop I get a screen to log on: but not on my other devices.

Is there a solution?

Well, if username and password are already part of the rtsp URL, a login dialog shouldn't be required.

Are you using the latest version of VLC-iOS? It should push login dialogs as needed.

Yes, I'm using the latest version of VLC but the login dialog always shows.
