Apple TV Player Dismiss Time with touchpad

Hello,

Sometimes I'm watching a video and I tap on the touchpad to see at what point in time in the video I'm at. While it auto-dismisses in about 5 secs after tapping, I was hoping for a way to manually dismiss it were added (preferably by tapping on the touchpad again). This is pretty crucial for when watching a subtitled videos. 5 seconds is a bit too long and you can miss an important part of dialogue, required to rewind a bit. The stock apple player dismisses when taping the touchpad if you are interested in what it looks like.
