playing DVD ISO file in SMB, video is ok, but audio is mute. Also how to select items in the menu page ?

DVD playback is not supported by VLC on Apple TV, so you can do a menu selection. Support for menus will actually come, but not for DVDs.

For the audio, VLC for Apple TV currently does include an AC-3 decoder. We are also working on that
