RTSP performance issue ?

Hi all, I used the mobile vlc kit (via cocoa pods) to create a simple rtsp player.
It works great on my Iphone 6s+.
But it is slow on all the ipads tested for now.
Ipad 2, Ipad 3 (first generation), iPad Air (october 2015).
the stream start...hang ...restart slowly...hang

The issue is the same with the official VLC app.
Could it be a cpu issue ?

The test stream come from an Eken wifi camera (640x360 only !)

If more information is needed don't hesitate to ask...

I just test on Ipad Pro the issue disappear...
