There is an option to download subtitles from opensubtitle.org on Apple TV when you play a network stream movie but, it doesn't work in any language. It doesn't show any subtitle in the list of found subtitles.

Any idea?

Which languages and which media? Maybe, there are no subtitles available for the content in question?

English and Spanish language. I already found a way to solve it. I was trying to stream movies from movietv.to in 1080p but as I said in my last post VLC didn't show any subtitles in the list of found subtitles from opensubtitles.org but when I tried to stream the same movies in 720p it did show a list of found subtitles and I just had to choose one. I saw not only 720p subtitles listed but also 1080p subtitles. Can you help with this? I would like to play 1080p movies with its subtitle.

My Apple TV doesn't show any subtitles for any language from opensubtitles.org although it used to show a lot before, any idea about that?

The same issue here. I know there are several subtitles available with the exact filename, but VLC cannot find anything in any language. This used to work but seems to have got broken.

i have the same problem, did play several types of movies via AppleTV before and downloaded subtitles from opensubtitles.org, then dont know why it doesnt work anymore. Any language any movie.
