Restrict volume for iOS app?

Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask for this. Is there any way to restrict the volume from VLC iOS app? It's possible to restrict the volume if using headphones via iOS, but not if playing with built in speakers. This functionality would make the player more parent friendly, you don't need to listen to your kids playing the same mover over and over again :-)

Thanks in advance!

Mikael

This is currently not supported by VLC because we are using the system media volume, so it is the same output volume you use in Spotify or Apple Music, etc.

However, you can do 2 things:
- disable the volume gesture in playback view - see Settings or lock the UI in general using the lock in the ... popup visible during playback
- define a system-wide volume limit (see Settings -> Music -> Volume Limit). Additionally, you can prevent changes to the system volume limit in General -> Restrictions -> Volume Limit.
