Randomize Playllist?

Having recently moved from Blackberry (native FLAC support!) to IOS (iPhone 6+), I was happy to find VLC has a handy function to upload files directly to the app, since IOS doesn't expose the file system to users (?!).

So, I've got some music on my phone now and I can play it, but VLC appears to be missing a randomize playlist function... Or is it there and I'm missing it?

I'm also having trouble figuring out how to play more than just one album. The music is sorted by Album (if either "All files" or "Music Albums" is selected). Music only starts playing after I enter a particular album's track list and select a track. I thought it might be possible to get a listing of all media files in the library (just like VLC on Linux).

Anyway, very new to VLC on IOS and I might be missing something here. If anybody can help me find this functionality, it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Tony

Regrettably, the random function is not part of the libvlc API at this point and therefore not exposed to VLC-iOS. I'm aware of this limitation and we will find a solution early next year :)

Thanks Felix. I must say, this move to IOS has become increasingly frustrating. Having VLC available and knowing that it is being constantly updated an improved is one of the only good parts about this experience.
