when a download a file it doesn't show up in the media library

When I download the file:

Name: Gotham S02E07.mp4
URL: https://leto48g.storage.yandex.net/rdis ... wnloader5g

it does not show up in the media library, but it occupies space in the app sandbox.

VLC for iOS 2.6.6
iPad mini, iOS 8.4.1

Any idea?
