"Playback Failed" watching a stream with VLC for IOS

I'm streaming a .flv video with VLC 2.2.1 on a Mac as a multicast stream with the address rtp://239.255.0.100:1234/, based on what's on the Streaming/Savings > Settings
On the iPad, running VLC for IOS 2.6.5(265.2), I open the "Open Network Steam" and add the address rtp://239.255.0.100:1234/ I get "Playback Failed" and I'm still in the "Open Network Stream" screen. I've tried rtp://@239.255.0.100:1234/, it switched to the player screen, but I still get "Playback Failed" message.
Not sure if it matters, but I am running IOS 9.0.1

Hmm, this is weird. "rtp://@239.255.0.100:1234" works for me. Did you try restarting the app?
