Re-ordering files

Postby Wombatned » 23 Jul 2015 03:27

Hi. I've just started using VLC for IOS so that I can airplay files recorded on my Topfield PVR located in my family room to the TV in my lounge room using FTP sharing. It works really well.

The only issue I have is that all of the recordings show up in alphabetical order, when I would like them listed by the most recent recording. Is there any way to fix this (or could there be in a future release)?

Also, is there any way of filtering out the files that aren't video or audio files? I see .inf and .nav files as well as the mpg files that are all that I need to see.

Many thanks for any responses.

Hmm, no, the ftp browsing UI does not support sorting in anyway, but thanks a lot for the suggestion. I will keep this in mind for the local network server refactoring we have scheduled for the next major release :)
