how to reset passcode on VLC in ipad mini

I have forgotten my passcode for VLC On ipad mini. can you please advise the process to reset the same.

There is no way to do so. If you forget, you can't access the app anymore and you need to reinstall it to be able to use it again.
However, you can attach your iPad to a Mac or PC, launch iTunes, select your iPad, search for VLC in the "Apps" section and backup your files first.
