VLC version for iPad (1st generation)

After 5 years, in a stupid decision, I reset all my iPad because it was running a bit slow.

Now, I have lost the VLC version I had and I can't download it from my iTunes and I can't find in the website.

For a non-geek guy, can you please let me know where I can download that old version that was running soooooo nice in my old iPad ? (I even think it was a iPhone app, and not an iPad!).

PS - I can't download the latest, because my iPad does not support the needed OS.

You cannot, unfortunately. The only thing you can try is to search through your iTunes backups for getting an old VLC version.

You can. The question is if you can install it on your specific device and if it runs in the end. This is something where apple imposes limitations with their app store, not us.

Old versions of VLC for iOS are still available in free, open source form on our website. It's just a limitation of the iTunes Store which doesn't let you download it anymore.
