Multicast stream stuck

Hello,
i am using VLC for iOS 2.5.0 to watch Telekom's Entertain via RTP multicast stream (e.g. rtp://@239.35.20.64:10000) at home on an iPad. After 2mins (constant) the video gets stuck. On all channels I tested. In contrast VLC on a Windows PC does not show that behaviour and works pretty well.
Anybody got a clue? Is that being treated by the VLC team?

I will test that once I get access to a landline Telekom access point once again.

Thanks for your response, Felix.
I have stored the raw stream on my PC using vlc, transferred it to the iPad and played it there. Without the observed stuck after 2min...
If there is anything I can do for debugging, let me know. Would be great if that topic could be solved somehow.

PS: I think Telekom landline will not be enough. For being able to use that streams, entertain package needs to be subscribed.

I bought an apple TV version 4 recently. Using vlc player or cloud stream on tvOS the multicast stream still stuck after 2 min. of streaming. additionally there is a progress symbol in the middle of the stream. I need to go to the audio section select no audio and switch back to the offered audio to stop this weird progress symbol in the center of the picture.
however after 2 min of streaming the stream stops.

yes I am customer of deutsche telekom using entertain.
the streams i use can be found here:

I would love to hear that this is a known issue and will be fixed and/or there is a workaround

This problem has been reported a number of times (with a few different variations) under this topic but there have been no responses. If there is anyone out there who can offer any suggestions, it would be much appreciated. We, too, have this problem using VLC 1.0.7 under tvOS 11.0. Note that this worked generally OK under tvOS 10.x with only some glitches, but with tvOS 11.0, VLC is unusable.

Source: Osprey Talon G1H Encoder set to generate two H.264 UDP multi-cast streams: One at 15 Mbps 1080p/30 and the other at 1.5 Mbps 320p/15.
Working Receivers: A number of MacOS devices (iMac, MacBook Pro, Mac mini) all running VLC 2.2.6 work fine on either stream. Video portions occasionally freeze but restart up on their own. Audio never freezes.
Non-functioning Receiver: Apple TV 4th Generation running VLC 1.0.7 under tvOS 11 will freeze both video and audio streams and will not restart on their own. VLC sometimes crashes. The high-rate stream will freeze after 30 seconds, while the low-rate stream freezes after 2 minutes --- this is consistent under tvOS 11 even after doing a reset to the Apple TV. Under tvOS 10, the streams would only occasionally freeze --- maybe after 45-60 minutes.
