Android iOS can play an ISO of a DVD, with full DVD menus too. But on the latest iOS I'm seeing 'the file format used by xxx is not supported' when I browse to the ISO file on an ftp drive -- why, when it works fine on Android and PC?

And, is support likely to be added in future?

Maybe cause DVD use to have AC3 audio and the new version of VLC for iOS has not Ac3 support

Because libdvdread and libdvdnav are GPL.
