Title says it all. I have an iPhone 4s (latest iOS 8.1). Latest VLC although it has been going on ever since I can remember having VLC installed.
My phone doesn't freeze, it just keeps playing. The sound was audible to the other end (caller) quite clearly. I changed some settings (probably time stretcing audio to ON, audio playback in background to ON) and it is no longer audible on the other end. Nevertheless, I can still hear the playback while on a call

Not sure if starting a new thread is a good idea, but didn't find anything here that's quite the same. I have to say that it is really clear on the other end as well. But i would prefer not to let others know what I am listening to.

When will this be addressed? It is an incredibly annoying bug. My friends wonder what the heck I'm doing every time I answer the phone I much click through to VLC to pause. Often, when I disconnect the call, VLC starts playing again.

It's fixed for the next update. VLC is not on the store right now, but we hope to have it back quite soon and in turn, the fix will be available.
