VLC for IOS removed from Apple Brazilian APP Store

Hi folks, I am sending this message to inform you that VLC for IOS 2.3 is not present at the Apple Brazilian APP Store anymore.
After upgrading to IOS8 I deleted VLC to recover more flash memory. Somehow VLC was with no media files but system reported that more than 500MB were still in use by VLC as data. Problably a bug somewhere because the videos were deleted.
When I tried to reinstall VLC I could not find it again in my app purchases. As I had a backup of the .ipa file in my Mac I could recover it.

Do you know why Apple removed it from Brazilian APP Store?

In Italy too!! so sad when you release a great product "they" cut it off

I am unable to download the VLC app as well, it says not available in your region. I am in the USA
