Apple ID password in the address line

Hello,

I recently installed VLC for IOS on my iPad. I can see my Apple ID password as pre-filled plain text in the grey address line (In "Open Network Stream" and "Downloads") under the orange area!
I am concerned that VLC is reading out my Apple ID password from the system...

What is this for?
