IOS And Chromecast?

Any hint at when VLC for IOS with Chromecast support might be available. I'm willing to be a beta tester!

There is no way to do beta versions in a proper way on iOS yet. Supposedly, this will be supported by Apple later this year.

For CC, I can't give any estimate.

It is already later this year! Seriously, though, originally VLC was supposed to support Chromecast prior to Android. From what I hear, the VLC/Android/CC thing already happened. I have a W7 desktop, and IOS-based tablet. So, I guess I need to go Android when buying a new phone.

To anyone who suggests Plex, I don't really feel like I should pay once for the DVD, and a second time for Plex. VLC seems to be the right choice, anyway.
