Are there plans for integration of OneDrive cloud storage as a source for videos in VLC for iOS? Would be greatly appreciated if so!!

It's on our todo list. However, it is a very horrible SDK, so our motivation is small.

Seeing that Apple announced CloudKit for iOS 8, Microsoft will hopefully be able to access files stored on OneDrive without us having to write a single line of code. This is not confirmed yet, though.

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry to hear that MS has a crappy SDK, but I'm not surprised...

I'm just bringing this up because you're likely to start seeing an influx of people using OneDrive for cloud storage, as they recently upped the free quota to 15GB and paid quota to 1TB (which is what I have, since I bought MS Office). That makes it an ideal place to store large amounts of video.

I totally understand your point regrettably, I can't promise anything at this point.
