Folders transferred via iTunes (OSX) not showing content

Howdy,

I've transferred a load of movie files to my iPad to watch while away, all of the files which were not in folders transferred and appear perfectly but everything that was enclosed within a folder on my iMac is not showing up. I know I should have checked before leaving, but now we're here and I don't have access to a computer. I have the latest version of VLC installed and the files are definitely on the iPad (calculating the space available/used confirms this - there were a lot of folders) but are not visible. Is there any way to get these files to appear, or am I not going to be able to access them without a computer?

Thanks!

Sorry, you won't be able to access those files without attaching your device quickly to a computer. VLC for iOS does not recognize any folders synced through iTunes, but individual files only.

Felix, I've synced my iPad via iTunes and added DVD folder to click app.
At the moment I can't see this folder in the app. How can I delete it from my iPad or from iTunes?
Thx in advance!

Frankly speaking, you should be able to remove the folder the same way you synced it. If you did so via iTunes, it should allow you a way to remove it again.

In the worst case, backup the VLC app (NOTE that you CAN'T re-download it atm), delete it from device and re-install via iTunes.

Thx for yr reply. I solve it just by selecting the folder and pressing Del on my keyboard. Unfortunately there is no check boxes against folders/files, nor delete button in iTunes.
Anyway, thx for yr assistance and for great player.
I wish it was still in AppStore.
